Miss Hussey and Hayley Williams jumped out of a plane on Saturday (2nd July) to raise money for the school and for Cancer Research. They survived…and we think they are completely mad!!! BUT- Well done to both of them- what an amazing thing to do!
Oak Team have kicked off their Journeys project by looking at a beautiful book called Song For Planet Earth by Meredith Hooper. We have been writing our own verses and illustrating them in the same style. We have talked about what the title Journeys means to us and have designed the project around our ideas.
We have been working really hard on our Tudor projects this term and have really enjoyed learning about the fights between the Lancastrians and Yorkists. We looked at the weapons they used in the Battle of Bosworth Field and re-enacted the battle in the playground which, ended in a victory for the Lancastrians. Henry V11 (aka Harry
