I hope everyone who attended the Festival had a good weekend. The weather was certainly kind though I have to admit that acts like Prodigy did not appeal to me this year!

A big thank you to all parents and helpers who joined us for the Walking Bus Record Breaking Event. We all marched up to the Horseshoe Pub car park with our home made banners! We could have our own walking bus organized by parents if there was enough interest. However it would involve volunteers planning a route and collecting children as they passed by and taking them to school. If anyone would be interested in organizing this please see Mrs. Miles.

The Supporters of Northwood really appreciate all the offers of help that have been made for the Summer Fair. Next Friday, the 26^th June will be a Mufti Day in exchange for a carrier bag of goodies for the Summer Fair. Items needed include toys, books, bottles, plants, cakes etc.

A reminder that there will be no Academy next week because of the penfriends visit.

Well done to Willow Tree parents/grandparents who turned up to their Lunch Club on Thursday despite all the traffic problems. Maple Class will be inviting their Parents/Grandparents/Aunties etc. next Thursday.
