We are coming to the end of another busy half term which has included Foundation Stage trip to Sandown Zoo, Come to School a Different Way Week, New Parents Coffee Morning, Eco Afternoon, the Swimming Gala and much more!
The Academy will begin on the Friday 5th June and we are still looking for helpers to make it a successful project. Please sign up on the sheets in the library area. The first session will be to launch the whole thing rather than begin actual sessions. Could I please ask volunteers to do Friday 10th July as well to make up for the introductory session.
Could I please ask parents to ensure that children do walk into school with their bicycles rather than ride because it makes the path quite dangerous for pedestrians.
Together with your newsletter today you will also receive a uniform order form. If you require new uniform ready for September, please return it to the office, together with payment by Monday 1st June. We cannot guarantee delivery of new uniform ready for September after this date.
We have to say goodbye to Mrs. Mumford today and we hope she enjoys a little time to relax before the birth of her baby. I think she has done remarkably well in managing her pregnancy and teaching with a little football sized bump all this time!! We shall look forward to her return next year but I know she will stay in contact with us all whilst she takes her maternity leave.
After half term we are very pleased to have two friends from the Czech Republic who will be joining us in school.
