London Pen friends visiting.
Photo money to be in.
Mufti day 8th July

Ø     We had a very successful Summer Fair on Saturday thanks to all the wonderful helpers before and on the day.

We raised an amazing £1,488.06.  It was so nice to see new and old faces supporting us too.  Abbie Gardener’s mum was the lucky winner of the Mazda MX car for a weekend!!  Do give her a wave as she passes!

Ø     Key Stage 2 have done a super job of hosting their pen friends visit this week and I must say a special thank you to all the parents, past pupils and staff who have worked really hard to make the visit so successful.

Ø      A reminder that school photo money MUST be in by Monday 30th June.

Ø     A very kind suggestion made by Chloe Courage has been taken up by members of the School Council and they are going to organise a Mufti Day on Tuesday 8th July to support the fund raising efforts for Ms Howland’s school in Africa.

Ø      Eight Tashi Lhunpo Tibetan Monks will be in residence at the Quay Arts Centre from Tuesday 15th –Saturday 19th July.  If you are interested in Tibetan culture then this event is for you!

Ø     As part of the IOW Council’s formal consultation on its School reorganisation proposals there will be public meetings at Cowes Yacht Haven on Thursday 3rd July and Thursday 10th July from 7-9pm.  The meetings will give details on how the council has arrived at its current position, what happens now, and how you can make your representations known during the formal consultation process.  You will also be able to ask questions.

Ø      We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience to work in Apple Tree class from September for 20 hours a week, for one term only in the first instance.  Application forms available from the school office.  Closing date Monday 6th July.

Ø     Does anyone have any empty baby milk tins or any empty tubs of M&S mini bites/choc rolls/flapjack etc. for Cherry Tree class.

Ø      Brantano are offering up to 70% off footwear until 6th July.

Have a good weekend!!
