J I have had some response to my request for singers/groups to appear during our singathon on Saturday 12^th July. Thank you to those lovely volunteers. However I do know of other talented people out there who haven’t come forward yet!!

J Could we put out an urgent plea for Camp Beds. We need them on Thursday 26^th June for the children visiting from London to sleep on . If you could lend us one please see the KS2 team as soon as possible.  If we have to hire them they will cost £150 for one night!

J Doreen Gant [mother of Ellis in Cherry Tree class] and her sister are taking part in a ‘Sponsored Silence’ to raise awareness of the plight of sufferers with Motor Neurone Disease. They will pledge to remain silent for two hours!!

J Traffic Wardens have been monitoring the parking situation outside school and will continue to do so.  I believe they have been taking photos too.

J It will be Oak Teams turn to invite a guest to join them for a school dinner next Thursday [19^th June.]  Please could you make sure that guests are booked in for lunch by Tuesday at the latest.

J Don’t forget it is our Summer Fair on Saturday 21^st June.

J We are saying goodbye to our excellent student teacher who has been working in Oak Team this term. We wish Rosie well in her new life and career on the mainland.
