J Welcome back to the last half of the summer term. The year has rushed by but we still have lots to look forward to.
J On Friday 13th June we are holding a Mufti Day to gather donations for the Summer Fayre. Please could you send in donations of wine /jars /tins /CD’s /DVD’s [no videos] or a £1 donation. Thank you for your support.
J We are looking forward to our Eco Day next week. You are warmly invited to come and have a guided tour of the school grounds and enjoy a delicious cream tea during the afternoon of Thursday 12th June from 1.00- 3.30.
J We do recommend that the school water bottles be used for water only as frequent drinking of squash will be harmful to
children’s teeth.
J We are planning to hold a sponsored Sing-a-thon to raise money for Thelma Howland’s school in Africa. This event will take place on Saturday 12th July - more details to follow shortly, however we will be looking for musicians to take part. If any parents play in bands or as solo artists or know of anyone who would donate a session to this good cause, do let me know.
J The Northwood Parish Council will consider the co-option of a person to serve on the Parish Council at a meeting to be held on 1st July 2008.
