J The ice skating event was a great success. There was such a lovely atmosphere here on Sunday. Well done to all our helpers and supporters. We raised an amazing £500!
J We still have a problem with a vehicle that is parking on double yellow lines. Will the owner of a silver beetle, registration number X972 NBW please park safely? The car park is for staff parking only, please do not drive in to drop off or pick up your child, thank you.
J We feel as if we are always asking you for money so on this occasion we funded the SCAT THEATRE companies’ performance called Drumlins and Dragons using the commission we received from your purchases of your children’s school photos. It is always such a pleasure to watch the children during these live performances.
JA reminder that Friday 1st February is the last day for bulb orders.
J Do you have a child with eczema?
Eczema has been found to be more common in hard water areas such as the Isle of Wight, but no-one really knows why. A team at the David Hide Asthma and Allergy Research Centre on the Isle of Wight are hoping to recruit island children with eczema, aged from 6 months to 16 years, for a study to see if eczema can be improved by deliberately softening all water in the home. If you would like to help in their research project and participate in the study please contact the team at the centre on 534178. Alternatively you can obtain further information from the website www.swet-trial.co.uk.
J If you have any objection to us changing to eco friendly water bottles then please let us know.
J Don’t forget that school will be closed on Monday 4th February because of a staff training day
