WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

School Hours

Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00 noon

Afternoon Session 1:00 – 3:10 p.m.

Early Birds Club operates from 8.00 to 8.45 a.m. at a cost of £6 per week or £1.50 for a casual session. See Mandy Airey for details.

Please try and bring your child just before 9 o’clock. There is no supervision in the playground before 8:45. NO children are allowed to use the Millennium Trail before school.

School Meals

Please bring dinner money in a clearly marked envelope to the classteacher on the first day of each week.

Dinners currently cost £1.70 per day.
Please make cheques payable to IWC.

Menus can be obtained from the office and can also be found on the back of the newsletter.

Children are entitled to free dinners if you are in receipt of Income Support or Job Seekers’ Allowance. Please see Mandy Airey for an application form. It helps our School Budget if you apply even if your child decides s/he would rather have a packed lunch.

Children may bring a packed lunch.

No sweets or junk food please.

ALL 4-7 YEAR OLDS ARE GIVEN FRUIT EVERY DAY

ALL 4 YEAR OLDS ARE ENTITLED TO FREE MILK EACH DAY

Absentees

Please contact the school as soon as possible if your child is unwell. There is somebody on the premises from 8:15 each morning. For any other time away from School, permission must be sought from the Headteacher. Unauthorised absences will be marked on your child’s record. In some unusual circumstances, children may have up to 10 days holiday in term time. Please apply for a holiday form from the office.
