ARE PARENTS INVOLVED IN THE SCHOOL?

We are delighted when parents offer to join in school activities. In the past parents have helped with reading, sewing, PE, maths, games, cooking, art activities, computer skills and costume making.

We are pleased to accept offers of help and look forward to hearing what skills you would like to share with the children. Guidelines for volunteers are included in the back of the manual.

There are 5 Parent Governors who are elected to serve for 4 years.

Their names and contact numbers are listed in “Who’s Who?”.

The Northwood School Association is run by a committee of volunteers who organise fund-raising, social, educational and informative events. Any parent may attend NSA meetings. A Chair, Treasurer and Secretary are elected each year at the NSA’s AGM. Our NSA is affiliated to the National Council of Parent Teacher Associations.

The Northwood Newsletter is printed each Friday, and will keep you informed of all our many events. A copy of the newsletter is posted on the website each week. www.northwoodpri.co.uk

We sometimes ask you to complete a questionnaire which helps us to monitor the success of the service that we offer you and your family.
