My children are now in year 10 and 9. They were at Northwood until 2006.
The grounding in education, social skills and emotional well being they got from the staff at Northwood has stood them in good stead.
My son is hoping to become a chef and my daughter is excelling in Sports and Science.
From the little girl who didn’t speak to the self confident young lady she is now, has been a long journey. The first strong steps made at Northwood Primary School.
    Keep up the good work.

Lovely school and Miss Hussey is a fantastic Headteacher. I already have a son in Year 6 and my daughter is due to start in September, she’s so excited. I love the new website, my only suggestion is a section on uniform and where to buy it so any parents of new students starting in September can find out easily.

Well done to the year 5 and 6 netballers. A fantastic performance at the Cowes cluster netball tournament on Monday. Both teams played very well and fought hard. The B team, a little less experienced with matches, but still put in 100% effort, never gave up and connected well as a team. The A team with slightly more experience, performed excellent netball, throughout the tournament, lovely steady court play which turned into goals. This enabled them to win all their matches, putting them through to the cluster finals on the 20th March.
Well done to Erin; Lauren; Nadia; Caitlin; Ellen; Abbie; Alice; Millie; Mollie; Willow; Ellie; Amelia; Esme & Ava, a credit to Northwood Primary.

Northwood is not only a fantastic school for education, all the staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. Having recently had our second child we have no doubts as to which school she will be attending!

Our boys came over to Northwood just over a year ago from another local school, Miss Hussey and all the staff were very helpful in putting our minds at rest about the move.

The boys could not be happier, they were made very welcome and settled in quickly, the standard of teaching is of a high standard and one that challenges the boys and prepares them well for their future learning when they move on.

Our daughter has just started at Northwood Primary School and the transition from playgroup has been seamless. From day one she has been happy to come to school in the mornings. She always has exciting things to tell us about her day when she gets home. Her classroom is a very happy and welcoming place where she feels very comfortable and we have been very impressed with the information sent home to us about what she will be learning at school, as well as what we can do to help at home. We are very happy that we chose Northwood as our first choice.

Northwood is a little gem at the end of the lane! Its atmosphere is unique from the minute you walk into the welcoming office and are greeted by the delightful Mrs Green! The children are well mannered, polite, helpful and seem to be bursting with pride. I am thrilled to have found such a wonderful school where my two boys have flourished. They are confident, proud of themselves and their school, have achieved more than my expectations and every day go to school with a skip in their step.
Thank you to all the staff at Northwood for making it special, you really are ‘outstanding’!

I strongly believe that Harriet and Georgia, now in Year 10 at a High School in Derbyshire, would not be the two very confident young ladies they are now if it were not for their 5 years of nurturing at your fantastic school.

I would like to congratulate Millie Williams, Mollie Butler, Aaron Harvey, Toby Lucas, Ben Tickner, Tilly Butler, Billy Williams & Rossen Martin. 8 fantastic runners, who put 100% effort & great determination in 3 Cross Country events held at Medina College. I am 56 years old and was at Northwood Primary from the age of 5 until 11 when I went to Cowes H S. I still remember it with fond memories and am so glad it is still there. It really has not changed that much. My family have now moved from Northwood . I now live in Canada.

  18. Lee says:

Thank you to all the staff at Northwood for helping my boys settle in years Reception and 5. They are really enjoying their experience so far, they have made new friends, and they feel like a part of the school already. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and so are the parents. Many thanks.
