Eco Friendly Newsletter?

I was thinking the other day (rare event), the School Newsletter is distributed to everybody in the School but it is also available to read online (usually before the paper based newsletter). So how much paper is used every year to publish the newsletter.
Children on role (207) x Number of Weeks in School Year (39) = 8,073 sheets of A4
1 ream of paper is 500 sheets so 16 reams/year, a ream has been estimated to be 6% of a tree so the School Newsletter costs 1 tree every year, approximately.
So if people read the newsletter online and all the the other class and school announcements were made on the website then think how much paper and money would be saved.
Obviously the above is an over simplification in the eco cost of school printed material and not everybody can or wants to read the information online. But it is an interesting point to think about as Eco Week looms.
