Hello from Willow Tree Class (Year 1 and Year 2) . 
A new term, the snow is going and we are now well into our exciting geography based topic of Journeys.
We are learning to look at things from a bird's eye view, and we will be looking at a plan of the school, Northwood and the Isle of Wight. We'll carry out a traffic survey, plot our journey to school and find out about places on the island. Please bring in any information about the Island, perhaps old photographs or leaflets of where you have been. 
After half-term we will extend our learning to places around the world according to the children's ideas.
The children have been amazing us with their gymnsatic skills, their writing and reading skills but most of all, how they get along with each other through Learning Partners and groups activities.
