Miss Flack works in Maple team alongside Mrs Peters and Mrs Bates.  This term our topic is journeys.  We have been looking at our local area and the Isle of Wight.  Now we are looking at China and how it is different to England.

We have started a display in the classroom, with postcards pictures and objects from countries around the world.  If you have any interesting souvenirs that you would like to share with us, please send them in.

We are looking forward to a visit from the London Jing Kun Opera Association, who will be leading workshops with us.

In science we have been studying forces, in particular push and pull.  We have visited the park to investigate how forces help us use the apparatus.

We have also made our own moving vehicles and tested them to see which one travels the furthest.  We discovered that your wheels need to turn freely in order for your vehicle to move well.
