 Welcome to Maple Team, and welcome to 2010. We are all hoping this year brings lots of fun and excitement into our classroom.
This term our topic is journeys. We will be using our geography skills to locate towns, cities and countries on maps, and we will also be finding out what it is like to live there.
Maple team are interested in finding out about India, China, Madagascar and Germany to name but a few. If you have anything at home that you think might be helpful, then please send it in.

We will be using our ICT skills to share some of what we find out.
Visit our classroom to see pictures of our assembly about Grace Darling - we wrote it ourselves. You will also find our New Year wishes and Bolivian straw dolls on display.
At home you can:
Read regularly
Learn your spellings and do your Spelling Bees
(these are handed out Friday due in the following Wednesday)
Learn and practice your 2, 3, 5, 10 times tables
Research any of our topics and bring in items to support our learning.
