A BIG WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR NEW APPLE TREE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

We are looking forward to another exciting year in Apple Tree.  This term our focus will be Nursery Rhymes and Traditional Tales – with opportunities to explore autumn in the meadow.  We love outside learning and this term gives lots of chances for the children to get to know the school grounds both inside and out.

Another big focus will be the GOLDEN RULES that we learn and try very hard to keep throughout the school.  They are simple, but very effective at supporting our positive behaviour discipline – we would appreciate your support in helping your child(ren) to learn why boundaries are so important and we will have an informative evening very soon to talk this through with you.

The Curriculum Evening will be on Tuesday 16th September at 6:00pm and we cannot emphasise enough how important this evening is to attend - so that we can advise you how to support your child in their Reception Year.

Do look out for the planning located in the Sunflower Room which will give you an overview of what we are doing.  All of the children are encouraged to develop their own interests and skills through quality play experiences.  There will also be a weekly curriculum letter informing you of additional learning experiences available in Apple and Cherry Foundation so that you can be involved as much as possible in your child’s exciting life in Apple Tree.

Mrs. Essery, Mrs. Hayward, Mrs. Chisholm, Mrs. Trueman, Mrs. Andrews and Mrs. Strand are all ready to welcome you on an exciting learning journey.  Get ready to make new friends, explore, investigate, construct, design, manipulate, discover, and cook delicious recipes, role-play, pretend and so much more…
