Newsletter Update

Northwood Primary News Update

As it is such a busy time of year for everyone we thought we would send out a short newsletter today to bring you up to date with things that are happening in school!

  • We are delighted to be able to tell you that the photos of your children with Father Christmas that were taken at the Christmas Fayre have been adjusted and copies of the lovely pictures are now available for you to purchase from the office priced at 50p each.  Mrs Power has kindly donated all the proceeds of these to the SON.
  • HOSANNA ROCK – tickets are now available from the office for the KS1 Christmas production next week but will be limited initially to 4 per family.  There will be no charge for the tickets but there will be a collection at the end of each show.  Don’t forget performances are at 9.30am and 2pm on Tuesday and 2pm on Wednesday.
  • FRONTLINE HAMPERS – we had decided that we wouldn’t ask you to donate items to provide hampers for needy families this year as we felt that we had already asked you for such a lot of things this year.  We understand though that many of you have expressed disappointment that we wouldn’t be making the hampers so today we contacted Frontline, who were delighted to hear from us.  Instead of each class making their own hamper we will be collecting for just three families as a whole school.  Boxes will be in the library tomorrow together with lists of suggested items and details of the families we will be collecting for.  Please tick any item you are able to provide or add anything else to the list that you would like to give.  Thank you for your generosity.
  • 50p SALE – the SON are holding a 50p sale in the library tomorrow after school.  Books, puzzles, toys and gift items will be available to buy, all at 50p!
