International Week: Beech Class go Greek!

To celebrate International Week Beech Class learned about all things Greek last week. We enjoyed the story of Theseus and the Minotaur and painted Minoan frescoes like those found at the Palace of Knossos in Crete. We also read the story of Medusa the Gorgon and made scary Medusa face masks using paints and collage. Somehow we also managed to squeeze in Greek plate painting, kebab making and food tasting and even some Greek dancing. Bravo to all of Beech Class for working so hard and being so creative. I wonder how many of you will remember how to count to ten in Greek and say Good Morning and Good Afternoon when we return to school next Tuesday.
Have a great week off and don’t forget your spellings which are due in on Wednesday.

Pictures to follow.
