OAK Team re-enact the Battle of Bosworth!

We have been working really hard on our Tudor projects this term and have really enjoyed learning about the fights between the Lancastrians and Yorkists. We looked at the weapons they used in the Battle of Bosworth Field and re-enacted the battle in the playground which, ended in a victory for the Lancastrians. Henry V11 (aka Harry Lovelock- Brown) was crowned in a monumentous ceremony next to the sandpits!

As a homework project, some of us made shields, pole axes, swords and maces- they look really vicious and Mrs Murphy was very impressed!
