Welcome to the Spring Term in Apple Tree.
Our theme for this half term will be Journeys and Transport.
Jump aboard the Apple Tree train as we find out about modern and vintage trains.
We will catch the Apple train and plane to many destinations both local and around the world.
We will learn about how to stay safe when crossing the road using the Green Cross Code.
We will be linking with our Global Partner – The Reading Tree School in India to explore Natural and Man-made wonders of the Isle of Wight. Some of us may visit the Needles with our families and talk about the visit using photographs and artefacts.
We will celebrate Chinese New Year. Preparing stir fry, making coolie hats, writing Chinese numbers and fortune cookies.
We will taste exotic fruit from all over the world and begin our five fruit/vegetable challenge a day.
